It can easily be said that 3D designing tools have become a revolution in the way that engineers and architects create their building designs. The founder and CEO of Luxology, Brad Peebler, noted that the actual cost of high-end 3D falls onto the advanced training and the hours that it takes to make something. So Luxology wanted to create a program that was both scalable and intuitive in order to make rendering both better and faster.  Because of this, modo allows the designer to paint on the actual surface of the models. It makes a combination of tools available, along with inks and brushes that can be adapted into various styles and effects. One example of this consists of “clone” and “airbrush” tools that can be used in conjunction with either a soft or hard digital brush. The program also has the ability to render highly detailed textures, like concrete, stucco and asphalt.

It can easily be seen that when one works with forms, there is an artistic quality that’s employed. The human hand is still considered the most crucial part of the design industry. This is why designers can still be required to extensively utilize Maya and Autodesk 3ds digital animation, compositing and rendering tools.
